a first class service from start to finish .

IT WAS MY FIRST OPERATION SO I WAS SLIGHTLY ANXIOUS.DR ROBERTSON COULDNT HAVE DONE MORE TO ENSURE I KNEW EVERYTHING ABOUT MY OPERATION AND THE AFTER CARE REQUIRED. I was referred to Mr Robertson by my GP, I went for a consultation with Mr Robertson and explained my symptoms, he was very understanding and explained to me my options. I opted for the removal of my gallbladder, Mr Robertson booked me an appointment and informed me that I would receive details in the post. I went for my pre-op appointment and the nurse was very professional and reassuring. From my first appointment, to my surgery and recovery I have experienced fantastic care and support from Mr Robertson and his team. Thank you to you all for the care and support you gave to me. Mr Robertson is definitely a credit to the Health Care Team.

My experience with Mr Robertson was nothing more than super.The information, help, reassurance and aftercare is what this country needs.I would also suggest certain others within the medical services could learn an awful lot from this exceptional individual.

Gavin Robertson is a Consultant Surgeon in Leicester specialising in laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery, especially surgery for gallstones having performed more than 4500, with no bile duct injuries and hernias;- inguinal, incisional, umbilical and ventral (more than 5000), He is an expert in the investigation and treatment of abdominal pain and the management of liver and pancreas cancers.
He qualified in 1984 in Leicester, trained in centres across the world before becoming a Consultant in 1999. He has specialised in laparoscopic surgery for over 20 years.
